An ultrasound examination of the heart from the "outside" using a special ultrasound probe is part of our every check-up. It provides us with information about the condition of the heart. 

This way the thickness of the heart muscle and the heart walls as well as the size of the heart are measured. In addition, the Doppler examination checks the functioning of the heart valves and the blood flow through the heart. 

Heart valve defects, plaques and other pathological alteration can be made visible by means of this examination, giving us important information about the performance of the heart.
